The Spring 2016 session of City Art Lab is up and running, and off to a great start! We had a record number of applicants this year and were thrilled to welcome over 30 NYC high school students into our classrooms last Wednesday. This semester, our graduate student teaching artists will be leading the teens through explorations in a variety of media and techniques as they discuss themes of Environment and Identity. The session started with some fun ice-breaker activities to help the teens and grad students begin getting to know each other, and then moved on into deeper conversations and art-making activities.
Be sure to keep checking this space for more news and photos as the semester progresses!
