Job Purpose: Provide administrative support for ongoing educational and humanities program initiatives.
•Assist Director of the Department of Education and Humanities in the planning and implementation of all departmental programs
•Participate in researching and writing study guides, grant proposals, evaluation studies, reports, correspondence, materials for BAM executive staff and Board members, and other written materials
•Assist in developing and implementing education and humanities programs including departmental events, student culminating events, and the BAMkids Film Festival
•Participate in developing, writing, and editing marketing materials and program information
•Provide research and other administrative support for developing plans and pilot projects for education, family, and humanities programming and arts administration professional development program for BAM’s new Richard B. Fisher building to be opened in 2012 and for BAM’s upcoming 150th anniversary celebration.
•Provide administrative support: word processing, data entry, photocopying, filing, answering phone, collecting statistics, proofreading, and other duties as assigned.
•Attend meetings inside and outside BAM
